Battle of Communities

So, How does it works?

The Ships

The ships are a representation of the 'TOP 10' communities registered on the website. In order to identify which community each user belongs to, we used the 'programming language 1' field that you'll find on your profile. If a user hasn't defined any it won't be considered on any community.

The Detail View

On the Detail View you'll see 4 important values:

INITIATIVE: This is the quantity of papers submitted per community. A paper is associated to a community selecting a technology on the 'Call 4 Papers' form.

REPUTATION: This is the sum of the number of votes ( negative and positive ) of the papers belonging to a certain community. Earlier papers may not have any technology assigned so they won't be considered on any community.

PIRACY: Is the number of negative votes coming from each community ;)

TECHNOLOGY: The size of the ship is determined by the number of registered users for each community, the community with more users will always have the bigger ship. This means that if some community gets more users, they will get to downgrade other ships communities. You can tweet or share this on facebook to try get more users!
